Description: Early 1900 view of the Lauer Saal, a portion of the Main Amana Meeting House and some homes, taken from an upper level of the Amana General Store. The focus on this image is not overly sharp. The Lauer Saal, which burned in the 1930s, was the original, 1856 meeting house for the village. After the new meeting house was built in 1864, this building became an evening prayer service location. Image is 3 1/4 X 4 1/8 mounted on an embossed card that is 4 1/4 X 5 1/2.
