We (the Gestalt-O-Rama
Growth Co-op) are a group of
friends who have come to-
gether to create the right set-
ting for our own personal de-
velopment. We have decided
that in working on ourselves we
wish to be cultivating friend-
ships with others who are also
working on themselves. We are
sovereign individuals who do
not want to lose our individual-
ism for the sake of a larger as-
sociation. On the other hand,
we are interested in deep, last-
ing relationships with other in-
dependent, sovereign individu-
als . .. peers. We are ideal-
centered, convivial and highly
rational. We all want to talk out
new ideas with others so as to
eliminate any contradictions in

our respective lifestyles or be-
lief systems. We see our own
inner transformation leading us
to a mental stage where we are
ready to discuss the philo-
sophical premises of a new
morality. The new morality is
one in which ideals like secu-
rity, depth, and commitment
are complementarily woven
with values like group family
structures, multiple parenting,
graceful distancing, and tran-
scending jealousy and posses-
siveness. We are all intellec-
tuals and realize that our intel-
lect and our emotions work to-
gether.

At the Growth Co-op we talk
about all of these kinds of ideas
in rational, intellectual dis-
course. Some of us are living
together in an intentional com-
munity . . . others live alone. All
of us believe in equality and
maintain congeniality in our in-
teractions with one another. In
the Growth Co-op we firmly put
into practice the maxim that
people of good will can have
friendly differences of opinion.

Seminars take place Tues-
days, Wednesdays, and Thurs-
days in which new people can
come for the first time and
