Village road [lawn] going into the Church Family passing the Carriage House (barely visible board walk into Carriage House), Brethren's Shop, Creamery, and North Shop windows seen through Creamery porch, on the left. The Water Tower with windmill is in the middle of the lawn before the back portion of the Church Family Dwelling, with bell cupola. On the right, in front of the Dwelling is another row of buildings. -- Condition (card: about fine, photograph: fine). Black and white card with a 5/8 inch margin at the bottom, with the picture identification.; On the back left edge is the publication information: "A 33, Cody Bros., Canterbury, N. H. (Germany.)." -- All printing on the back is red in color. On the top of the card "Post Card." Top right: stamp box with postal rate information. -- Under the stamp area is a pencil seller's price "5.00" ($5). -- In lower left corner is "This side for the address." Stamp in blue ink on the back "FROM THE COLLECETION OF SCOTT DE WOLFE."

The card in vertical perspective has an oval picture on its face, covering 2 5/16th inches, the remainder of the face is for a message. In ink script under the picture is "Looking East, E. Canterbury, N. H." In purple ink, in a different hand, is written "Jan 4 1905 My Dear May Perry -- I hope you are well. I have not heard from you for sometime. I wish you a very Happy New Year also all of your friends. I hope you had a pleasent [sic.] Xmas we did. we pray for you and speak of you often Love to you and little cousin. We are all quitewell [sic.] good night. Jennie" In pencil, to the left of the picture, is "Write soon" In the picture is an ink "X" at the base of the Creamery. Directly under the picture in purple ink is "New Dairy"; On the back of the card, at the top, is "Post Card." Under those words, "This side for the address" In the upper right corner is a place marked for a postage stamp. In that area is a logo, C & Ko. Addressed to: "Mrs Alice M Perry, Mt St Mary's Acad, Manchester, N.H." No postmark or stamp are/were on the card.
