Description: Glossy 8 X 10 print from an original, damaged, negative, of a baker unloading large loaves of bread from a bake oven, presumably the one in main Amana. The image is very clear, but with some unfortunate surface damage to the original negative in the area of the man's head and just behind him. Original image probably dates to around 1915, although, as noted, this is a modern print.
Inscriptions: Handwritten on front: Barn Wagon Shed; Handwritten on back: Barn. Two story frame Barn on stone piers. Barn-boarded and battened walls, painted. Barn used for garage and storage. Plank floor, and floor single; gable roof shingled. Prison Farm, Enfield, Ct.
Large auditorium structure (where Mary and Benjamin held meetings and gave sermons both to colony only and open to the public) in background was demolished in 1933-34 just before prohibition ended.
