Description: No date, but early 1900s. My guess is taken at Homestead. Back has pencil inscription: "Liquid Manure water & honey wagon." I believe that this wagon was used when they cleaned out outhouses.

Description: This is an unusual view looking west from the village of Amana. It was likely made around 1900. Visible is the low hedge of evergreens around the cemetery, the enormous kitchen garden, and in almost the center of the image, the last remaining conifer tree marking the location of Joseph Prestele's (1797-1867) botanical specimen garden.

Description: Shows lumber yard, residences, kitchen house, general store and warehouses. This is an interesting image, clearly retouched. It is printed on a heavy commercial paper, and bordered with a photograph of clover, potentially a photogravure. The top corner of this border is missing. The image itself is very nice and is approx. 5 X 8.
