Jem Light '1"!-IE TRAVELING’ GESTALT CIRCUS The TRAVELING GESTALT CIRCUS is an experiment in true cooperation in art. The people working on the show are colleagues collaborating on an art form much greater than mgulti-media entertainment. The larger art form which they serve is: CULTURE SCULPTURE.. . the creation of a model intentional community/minksociety/micro- culture which is as near to being ideal as is humanly possible. They have a base in San Francisco, Lake County and Sonoma and are opening up links with people all over the west coast who are interested in utopian ideas. The TGC (Traveling Gestalt Circus) is constantly trying to reach people who: a. are involved in working to make their own lives more utopian, b. are working on new—age-type projects, communities, farms, coops, collectives, etc. who may want to join the network, . want to join the TGC with an act of their own, and/or . wish to explore the possibility of joining the Storefront Community (the intentional com- munity of which the TGC performers are members.)
